{"id":1423,"date":"2019-01-30T00:43:09","date_gmt":"2019-01-30T00:43:09","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/www.oconnorcpafirm.com\/blog\/?p=1423"},"modified":"2019-01-30T00:43:09","modified_gmt":"2019-01-30T00:43:09","slug":"day-11-2019-31-day-challenge-to-be-a-more-successful-business","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/www.oconnorcpafirm.com\/blog\/2019\/01\/day-11-2019-31-day-challenge-to-be-a-more-successful-business\/","title":{"rendered":"Day 11:  2019 31 Day Challenge to be a more Successful Business"},"content":{"rendered":"\n<p>We are 2 weeks into this process of\nchanging how your business operates, how you can make it so much more\nsuccessful and how to change the way you think about it.&nbsp; If you have\nstuck with it for the entire time, I hope you are seeing how changing your\napproach can have a profound impact on how you attack every day, how you see\nopportunities for what they are and how you smother your ability to succeed by\nletting the days drive you instead of the other way around.&nbsp; Here is the\nrecap of the steps we have attacked so far:<\/p>\n\n\n\n<ol><li>&nbsp;Dream Big with no Censorship<\/li><li>Organize and Categorize<\/li><li>Add Action Items<\/li><li>Create a Mantra<\/li><li>Share your goals with Family and Friends<\/li><li>Identify Frustrations that keep you distracted<\/li><li>Make appointments with yourself<\/li><li>Create a Vision Board<\/li><li>Partner in Crime<\/li><li>Control your Day<\/li><li>Listen to your Internal Talk<\/li><\/ol>\n\n\n\n<p>Making massive change is hard.&nbsp; It takes all the steps we have outlined and\nit takes discipline, consistency and commitment.&nbsp; Change is also scary.&nbsp; You will find yourself telling you that this\nis too hard, it is not working, I can\u2019t dedicate the time it needs, I am too\noverwhelmed.&nbsp; We all tell ourselves\nnegative things that hinder our ability to see the positive.&nbsp; We subconsciously sabotage ourselves with the\ninternal thoughts we let run through our mind.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Be aware if these thoughts as they\nenter your brain and catch them.&nbsp; Stop\nthe thought that is negative and replace it with one that is positive.&nbsp; When you start to tell yourself something\nthat will limit your ability to succeed, to move forward, tell yourself \u201cNO\u201d.&nbsp; This will work.&nbsp; I can do it.&nbsp;\nI just need to take a moment and reconnect with what I am trying to do.&nbsp; Find something that has happened that is\npositive and tell yourself there is more where that came from if I stay\ndedicated to this process.&nbsp; I can do this\none thing today to further this process.&nbsp;\nIf I can make these changes, I will get the time I need to do more.&nbsp; I will see the success of my efforts and that\nwill allow me to accomplish more and scale my growth, automate my processes,\nsell more of what I do best.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Change your perspective.&nbsp; Don\u2019t let negative thoughts diminish what you\nhave already done and what you can do in the future.&nbsp; Our brain does not know the difference between\nthe truth and a lie.&nbsp; It only knows what\nwe tell it and it deals with the information you give it.&nbsp; Feed it with positive thoughts.&nbsp; Tell yourself you have what you need, things\nare changing for the better, I will see my success and all the opportunities it\nwill provide.&nbsp; Your brain will then look\nfor proof of that and your perspective will change.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Business Success is a process:  Listen to your Internal Talk<\/p>\n","protected":false},"author":2,"featured_media":0,"comment_status":"closed","ping_status":"open","sticky":false,"template":"","format":"standard","meta":{"footnotes":""},"categories":[23,4,6,7],"tags":[],"yoast_head":"<!-- This site is optimized with the Yoast SEO plugin v21.0 -
