It’s a New Year!! Another chance to take charge, make positive change and get on a path toward achievement. I saw a post on Facebook that said “A Goal without a Plan is just a Wish” So true and what if you have not even developed the goal in the first place? Then where are you and how can you have any expectations at all for anything? See past Blog Posts for the previous days of the challenge. Working on them in order will help the process.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
So, we have the Big Dreams, we have organized them into categories, we have added some action items and we have created a Mantra that we tell ourselves every day. What’s next?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Share your goals with family, friends, staff…anyone that will support this process you are trying to go through. Someone encouraging, supportive and positive. This is to hold you accountable to the goals you have decided to pursue. Speaking them to someone else makes them feel more legitimate, you will feel a responsibility to working on them if you have voiced them to someone else. Ask your trusted person to periodically inquire as to your progress or your challenges and hurdles. Choosing the right person is key here. If you know of someone who would benefit from going through this process with you, partner with them so you are both working on your own paths, but help each other stay on track. A partner in crime really helps with the creative process and holds you accountable. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Give your dreams and goals a voice and they will have more power.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
