It’s a New Year!! Another chance to take charge, make positive change and get on a path toward achievement. I saw a post on Facebook that said “A Goal without a Plan is just a Wish” So true and what if you have not even developed the goal in the first place? Then where are you and how can you have any expectations at all for anything?<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Day 1 was letting yourself dream about 2019 without censorship. All the goals and dreams you have for the year<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Day 2 is to organize them into categories and priorities. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Day 3 is to take your categorized and prioritized list and add action items under each of the major goals. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
Day 4 Create a Mantra: I love these and they really help change your mindset, they can change your mood and they keep your focused. I have used mantras many times over the years and I think everyone should try it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
My business focused mantra might be something like: “I am growing this business and I recognize opportunities for what they are and I also recognize thoughts, approaches and frames of mind that do not help me move forward. I attract the kind of client I love to my practice. People hire me because the sense my dedication to their business and their overall success in all aspects of their lives. I provide energetic, caring, motivated solutions to their business. I communicate the value of my service to them. I release clients that are not a good fit because they are wasting energy and time and do not fit the overall feel of my practice. I empower and train my employees so they know the are appreciated and an integral part of the success of my practice.”<\/p>\n\n\n\n
Your mantra should be what motivates you and includes things you want to keep in the forefront of your mind. Remember, the brain does not know the difference between a lie and a truth. Feed your brain with what you want to be your reality and your brain will accept it and allow you to make it the truth for you. Tell yourself things about your life as you want it to be, not necessarily how it is at the moment. Remember to be grateful for all the good things in your life as a way of not losing site of what you already have, but know the universe is limitless in what it can provide for you and ask it to provide. It may sound hokey, but it works. It changes your perspective and allows for positive energy to start filling your day.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
